Try These

Here are two very good Post Rock/Sludge Metal releases that every Metalhead should own or at least listen to:

Rosetta - The Galilean Satellites



This is a double album, the first disc is the Post Rock heaviness and the second disc is pretty much ambient noises, both of them are designed to be played simultaneously. The first disc alone is brilliant but both of them together just enhances the listen.

Burst - The Lazarus Bird



These guys are in the same vein as Isis but leaning a bit more towards the hardcore side, sort of how Cult of Luna used to sound but not so electronic is another good description. Some of these songs just give me chills. One of the best releases for 2008.
